Not Every Application Needs Virgin Oil
Crusher plant in Bhiwandi was buying branded gear oil for their jaw crusher gearbox — 200 litres every 3 months at premium prices. Gearbox runs at 30-50 RPM, moderate temperature, oil contaminated with stone dust within weeks regardless.

Where Black Oil Works (and Doesn't)
USE for: Crusher gearboxes (slow, frequent changes due to dust), wire rope lubrication, open chain drives, general site lubrication (gates, trolleys, hardware), equipment washing, timber shuttering release.
DON'T USE for: Hydraulic systems, engines, sealed bearings, JCB/excavator systems, Mivan aluminium formwork (stains concrete, corrodes panels).
Important: Black oil is re-refined — filtered, dehydrated, processed. Not waste oil drained from engines without processing.

Q: Can I use it as shuttering oil?
Only on timber/plywood formwork. Never on Mivan aluminium — stains concrete, corrodes panels.
