What Goes Wrong With Cheap Grease
Bucket pin on a Tata Hitachi seizes during a pour. Machine stops. Mechanic pulls the pin — bearing surface is scored, grease channel packed with dried-out residue. New pin assembly: ₹8,000-15,000. Half-day excavator downtime on a site billing ₹50,000/day: another ₹25,000 gone.
