What is the difference between AP3 and MP3 grease?
Both are lithium-based NLGI 3. AP3 has extreme pressure (EP) additives for higher loads — excavator pins, crane bearings. MP3 is multipurpose without EP, suitable for lighter-duty applications. For construction equipment, AP3 is standard.
Can I use AP3 grease in my JCB 3DX?
Yes. AP3 is standard for JCB 3DX bucket pins, boom pivots, front loader linkage, and chassis greasing. Apply every 50-hour service or daily on heavy-duty sites.
How much AP3 grease does a construction site consume per month?
